S&P Global Ratings, a leading global provider of credit ratings, benchmarks, and analysis for capital and commodity markets worldwide, evaluates approximately 7,000 globally renowned companies from economic, environmental, and social perspectives. It selects the top 15% of companies in each of 61 industries as sustainable companies for inclusion in the "2021 Sustainability Yearbook," one of the most comprehensive publications providing in-depth analysis of corporate sustainability. Companies ranking in the top 1% are designated as "Gold Class."
Omron received high evaluation in both environmental and social standards.
