With the continuous development of automation packaging equipment in China's packaging industry, a wide variety of packaging machines continue to emerge. Among them, the development of automatic case sealers is also very prominent. Automatic case sealers are gaining increasing popularity. So, what are the excellent quality characteristics of SpeedPack automatic case sealers?
Automatic Case Sealer Configuration: SpeedPack automatic case sealers come standard with internationally renowned brand electrical components to ensure stability and safety during operation. These sealers boast superior performance, suitable for sealing large and heavy products. The sealing results are flat, standardized, and aesthetically pleasing. Utilizing instant-adhesive tape sealing, the process is economical, fast, and easy to adjust, completing top and bottom sealing in one go for maximum convenience. The machines are highly stable, reliable in quality, efficient in sealing, versatile in application, and have a long service life.

The Case Sealer Mechanism (Head): The mechanism is the most crucial component of a case sealer. Its function goes beyond merely holding the tape; it is primarily responsible for sealing and cutting the tape on the carton. There are many types of case sealers, and consequently, many different types of mechanisms, although not every machine has a unique mechanism. The standard sealer mechanism is typically a 3-inch core (a 2-inch core is also an option), capable of sealing tape widths ranging from 48mm to 72mm. This is the most widely used type of mechanism. Another type is the custom-designed mechanism, which is specially manufactured according to specific customer requirements. Generally, automatic case sealer mechanisms are universal parts, so you do not need to worry about sourcing replacement parts from the manufacturer later on.

How to Install Tape on an Automatic Case Sealer Mechanism: Installing the tape roll is one of the necessary tasks when using a case sealer. Generally, there is an installation diagram on the machine's pillar; users only need to follow the diagram. However, please pay attention to the following points: 1. The tape roll must be installed securely. The tape roll must be firmly fixed to the machine; otherwise, it may fall off during operation. 2. The tape must be flat. The tape may have some wrinkles when pulled out; these wrinkles must be smoothed out before sealing, or they will affect the sealing result. 3. Try to avoid dust on the adhesive surface. When installing the tape roll, the operator's hands may accidentally touch the adhesive side, reducing the tape's stickiness and affecting sealing quality. Therefore, try to keep the tape free from dust during installation.

Common Issues During the Sealing Process: 1. Misalignment of the top flap when the tape is applied to the box. The center seam of the top flap may not align when the carton enters the sealer, resulting in an unattractive seal. This is usually caused by the guide roller being too loose; users only need to adjust the black guide roller. 2. "Little tails" appearing on the tape. If a small tail is left after cutting the tape, check if the tape width is larger than the sealer's blade. If so, simply replace it with the correct tape size. 3. The tape cannot be smoothed flat. Sometimes the tape does not adhere flatly to the carton. This is mostly caused by a damaged bristle brush used for smoothing the tape; replacing the brush will solve the problem.
