Japanese inkjet printer manufacturer Screen has launched its flexible packaging press Truepress PAC830F. According to the manufacturer, this upcoming machine combines speed, print quality, and consistency for food packaging applications.
The Truepress PAC830F is a white CMYK inkjet press that uses water-based food-safe inks with a resolution of 1,200 dpi. It achieves speeds of up to 75 meters per minute (4,500 meters per hour) and can print on standard PET and OPP plastic films up to 830mm wide, making it ideal for stand-up pouches and flat-bottom bags.

It can easily handle model creation, variable data jobs, and other common digital work, but the Truepress PAC830F is equally responsive for version management, short runs, and any print runs smaller than 4,000 meters.
Group President and CEO Yukiyoshi Tanaka said in a statement: "Our new digital press is a game-changer for the flexible packaging industry, providing safe, sustainable, and high-speed solutions that meet the growing demands for food packaging quality and safety."
