  Step 1: Turn off the machine power. Then, following the illustration below, remove the handle cover plate.
  

  Step 2: Press the safety lock, then use the adjustment handle to set the desired pre-stretch percentage. Pulling the handle upward increases the pre-stretch ratio; pulling it downward decreases it.
  

  Step 3: For safe and correct operation, verify the following:

  1. The alignment mark has returned to its original position.
     
  2. The indicator displays the correct pre-stretch percentage.
