  SpeedPack Case Erector Control Panel Tutorial & User Guide (for standard automatic case erectors):

  The main controls on the SpeedPack case erector panel are the power switch and the emergency stop (E-Stop) button.

  The E-Stop serves two purposes: it immediately halts machine operation and clears active system signals.

  Powering On: Rotate the power switch to turn on the main power supply.

  Wait for the system to boot up and display the main screen.

  The home screen provides a brief overview of the case erector system.

  Tap the “Auto” menu at the bottom to enter automatic operating mode.

  In the top-left corner of the Auto screen, you’ll find two “Reset” buttons:   • Total Count Reset – resets the cumulative production counter.   • Tape Remaining Reset – resets the tape usage counter.

  For example, if the “Tape Remaining” limit is set to 1,500 boxes, the machine will trigger an alarm once this threshold is exceeded, indicating that the tape roll needs replacement.

  Start Conditions: When the E-Stop is pressed, the start condition indicator turns red, meaning the machine cannot be started. Once the E-Stop is released (turned clockwise to reset), the start condition turns green, and the machine is ready to run.

  Tap the “Parameters” menu at the bottom to access the settings interface.

  The Parameters screen allows you to configure settings such as batch quantity, delays, and other operational timings.

  Tap the “Start Conditions” button in the top-left corner of the Parameters screen to view the status of all interlocks.

  If you press the E-Stop during this check, you’ll see the E-Stop condition turn red, confirming it’s active.

  Tap the “Fault Log” menu at the bottom to review detailed historical fault records.

  Tap the “I/O Monitor” menu to view real-time input/output signal statuses—this function is typically used only by technicians or advanced users.

  Switching Between Auto and Manual Modes:

  In Auto mode, tap the current mode label (“Auto”) to switch to Manual mode.

  Once in Manual mode, you can operate individual functions via on-screen buttons:

  • “Pick Box Forward”: Moves the suction head assembly forward to pick up a blank carton.
  • “Fold Front/Back Flaps”: Actuates the mechanism that folds the front and rear panels of the box.
  • “Fold Side Flaps”: Folds the left and right side flaps.
  • “Push Box Forward”: Activates the pusher bar and conveyor to advance the erected box downstream.
